Savannah and Lauren- Senior Pictures

So I was at thrift smart the other day and found something I knew I couldn't live without: a large, orange wing-back chair. and it was velvet. It was perfect... and only $15. I knew it would be perfect in my living room, as well as in these Senior pictures. Savannah and Lauren go to my church, and are probably the prettiest girls I know. I had so much fun with them and their momma's (and sister). It was hard not to take a good photo because these two are just so dang photogenic.

Jack and Isabella

While we were in Chicago, we got to visit with James' family. His cousin Erika has the most ADORABLE kids- Jack and Isabella. She had me take some pictures of the kids.... so much fun. Jack had the cutest faux hawk... and well... you'll see.

Marathon Week

After training and running for almost a year, marathon weekend finally came! New shoes, dozens of gel packs, 2 MRIs, weeks of physical therapy, 40-60 miles of running a week, and many many blisters had all added up to this one day... 10.10.10. Couldn't believe it actually happened. James, my running buddy Elizabeth and I drove 7 hours to get to Chicago... along with 45,000 other people who were dedicated to racing that weekend. I don't know if I've ever worked so hard for something or pushed through so many obstacles.

It was 5 hours and 45 minutes of tortuous running before I finally crossed the finish line. By that point I was just glad that I hadn't died of heat exhaustion, dehydration, or physical exertion. Oh and did I mention it was HOT HOT HOT that day? ick.

Well here are the pictures to prove it...
